Senior PHP Developer

Trader.bg is a leading online broker offering online financial trading to retail customers. Among our main priorities is to provide a high level of service and support to our customers.

The Position:

This position requires an experienced PHP developer, capable of making significant contributions throughout the development lifecycle. The PHP Developer will participate in requirements gathering, unit testing, web development, deployment practices and evaluation of emerging technologies for one or more of the company’s core products.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• Good command of English language (spoken and written)
• Experience with object oriented PHP
• Experience with reusable PHP components
• Strong knowledge in Web usability
• Experience with Web servers (Apache) and RDBMS (MySQL)
• Experience with (X)HTML, CSS, DHTML. AJAX and Java Script
• Ability and willingness to work in a team, good analytical and communication skills
• Experience with QA practices
• Willingness to study and advance in the new technologies and actively participate in the knowledge-sharing within the company

Advantages:

• Knowledge of a CMS product
• Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL configuration and administration in production environment

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Work with development team and engineering leadership to design and implement new features.
• Take “ownership” of certain modules/functionalities
• Design and implement interfaces to third party hardware and software systems
• Provide maintenance programming support
• Assist in resolving customer issues
